What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else?
Your choices will apply to everyone on your account.
Definitions
Affiliates – Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
- Our affiliates may include companies engaged in financial services, lending, or marketing.
Nonaffiliates – Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
- Nonaffiliates we share with may include lenders, financial service providers, marketing partners, and other service providers.
Joint marketing – A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
- Our joint marketing partners may include lenders, insurance companies, and debt settlement providers.
Other important information
- California Residents – We will not share personal information with nonaffiliates except as permitted by California law.
- Vermont Residents – We will not disclose information about your creditworthiness to our affiliates without your consent.
- Nevada Residents – You may request to be placed on our internal Do Not Call List by calling 866-214-0004.
- Other State Residents – State laws may provide additional privacy rights.
